About Janine
Janine Petry is wife to one remarkable husband, homeschooling mom to three precious kids, and caretaker of one resilient aloe plant.

Also a writer and editor, Janine’s been privileged to serve in Christian publishing for more than ten years. Janine has served on the staffs of several Christianity Today International (CTI) magazines, including Today’s Christian Woman (TCW), Virtue, Christian History, and as the assistant editor of Marriage Partnership. Janine served as Managing Editor of Women’s and Family Issues for CTI’s Online Resources, as well as the columnist for “Ask a Resourceful Mom” and “Resourceful Woman” columns in the MomSense and Women’s Connection (TCW) e-newsletters.
Janine creates online resources and blog articles as a Contributing Editor for Gifted for Leadership, a CTI site for women in ministry. She is also a Resources Editor for Round Trip Missions, a ministry of Christianity Today International. When she’s not editing, she’s busy writing for a variety of publications, including Thriving Family from Focus on the Family. Other works are featured on ThrivingFamily.com (Focus) and (In)Courage.me, an online community for women from DaySpring. Check here for writings and resources.
Janine received her MA in Educational Ministries from Wheaton College Graduate School in IL. Originally from Long Island, Janine especially loves exploring all God teaches in the Living Water of His Word.
